Footwear trends and women’s clothing at the Capitalize A/W 2014 press day
Held at the hip and stylish Music Room in the heart of London, the Capitalize press day offered a treat for every fashion lover. The agency introduced the latest A/W 2014 collections of its brands, including Cocorose, Colors of California, Country Attire, Dynasty London, United Nude, Mou, Sorel and Victoria.
The focus was mainly on cool and trendy high-quality footwear, represented by several different brands.
Ladies looking for practical, comfortable and fashionable flats had the opportunity to browse through the Cocorose London A/W 2014 collection. These handy foldable flats are essential for the busy woman’s wardrobe. Available in bold colours, metallic finishes or animal prints, these comfy flats are great to brighten up your autumn outfits.
For the lovers of youthful, contemporary shoes, Colors of California had a wide range of flatform sneakers, wedge heels and uber-cool wellies to offer. The Italian brand’s latest collection inspired by freedom, dynamism and the desire to live life to the fullest includes lots of metallic, animal print designs and sneakers with overstated embellishments. A must-have from the Colors of California collection is the super stylish Wellington boot range in bold colours and a contrasting zip.
What looks like a Bang & Olufsen phone, is actually the latest fashion craze from contemporary footwear brand United Nude and Dutch fashion designer Iris van Herpen. The futuristic boots, named Biopiracy are definitely only for those who want to be centre of attention. The Biopiracy shoes were one of the most striking pieces at the press day and are available for pre-order in boot and ankle bootie styles from the United Nude online shop.
British footwear label Mou also presented its A/W 2014 collection on the day including luxurious handcrafted boots for women and kids. The brand’s popular inner wedge styles are back this season, combining glamour and comfort for the colder days. Mou also introduced its brand new range of sneakers, which are casual yet elegant, true to the label’s heritage.
From the ankles up, gorgeous evening dresses were brought to the event by British premium eveningwear label, Dynasty London. The latest collection draws inspiration from the concepts of dark romance and silent neutrals. With subtle details and glamorous embellishments, the line features soft hues, including champagne, powder pink and delicate nudes.
Also on the designer clothing front, Country Attire is worth a mention. Sourcing the latest fashion trends from popular designers, Country Attire is the home of British style online. Brands launching in the A/W 2014 season include Ted Baker, Nicole Farhi, See by Chloe and Jil Sander Navy.
