Betty Blue’s: your one-stop shop for loungewear and lingerie

Betty Blue’s, a brand born from a love for sleepwear, loungewear, lingerie and corsetry, was started a few years back by founder and creative director Betty Hobcraft.

Betty had always loved clothes full of beauty since she was little, and since then has always wanted to start her own brand. After watching black-and-white musicals with her grandmother from a young age, she decided to take her memories of this fond time and train herself in lingerie, corsetry and swimwear design. In the summer of 2010, she graduated with a qualification in Contour Fashion.

It was at this point in her life that she decided to use her skills working at several different luxurious lingerie companies. This allowed her to enhance her knowledge of what customers want from both lingerie and loungewear. It was from this point that her very own fantastic brand was born.

What we like the most about Betty’s brand is the loungewear factor of her work. She, as a student, would often find herself running round in baggy, unflattering outfits as she didn’t have the time to look after her appearance. As a result of this, Betty decided there was a huge gap for glamorous loungewear alternatives that you can run around in if you’re busy! Therefore, she took this idea on herself and has now created some of the most beautiful sweats around.

The aim of the brand is to provide girls of all ages and sizes with beautifully designed, relaxing clothing, but all with an added touch of glamour. Betty has managed to do exactly that.
