Skullcandy, the original performance lifestyle audio brand, launched its brand new collection of women’s ear candy.
Skullcandy started out with the ambition to transform listening to music. Made up of a collection of developed research, careful thought and Olympic ambassadors, the brand represents the need for music in everyday life. The women’s collection allows Skullcandy to present themselves as a passionate, strong and individual brand for females.
The goal for the collection was to understand how they could improve the listening experience for female customers. This included looking at acoustics, comfort, materials, fitting and even hygiene.
The outcome of the collection was three main products: Knockout, Bombshell and Dime. The audio drivers used in each item are custom-tuned to reflect field research that supports the fact that men and women listen differently. Made with premium fabrics and pretty prints such as florals and gold finishes, the designs are bold and fashionable, making them perfect for today’s ever changing fashion world. Our favourites have to be the blue and smoked purple Knockout headphones, complete with gold detailing.
