Find New York fashion in London with Jeffrey x Sperry Top-Sider
Sperry Top-Sider began back in 1935. Paul Sperry, a sailor, watched his cocker spaniel run across a frozen pond. Paul noticed his dog’s ability to walk on the ice with ease, and a solution to walking on a slippery surface became alive in his mind. Inspired by his dog’s paw, he designed a patent for “Razor-Siping”. Sperry then applied his new technology to a boat shoe which he introduced later that year.
Jeffrey, the world famous luxury mini-department store and boutique, is best known for its sale of clothes from fashion brands such as YSL, Prada and Marni. Located in New York’s Meatpacking District, the store is renowned for its brilliant selection of products, which cannot be found anywhere outside of the own designer’s boutique.
Now, in 2014, the pair have combined to create a collaborative store, and for a limited time only, the duo’s work is available to buy in London. Sperry Top-Sider has brought a unique collaboration for spring/summer 2014 to the capital and is available exclusively at the all new Sperry Top-Sider pop-up store just off Covent Garden.
The partnership is a collection, which brings together both Jeffrey’s contemporary up-beat design philosophy with Sperry Top-Sider’s classic silhouettes. Expect to find suedes in eye-popping colours along with other premium fabrics, as well as animal print and pony hair in a range of different shoes in the Top-Sider range.
The pop-up store can be found on Neal Street, Covent Garden for a limited time only, so we recommend you pay a visit very soon.

Prices start from £75 and the pop-up is available to visit until 13th July.
