Holiday beauty essentials
Summer is here meaning the holidays are fast approaching (yay!), but it also means the suitcase limit. Memories of sitting on your suitcase, folding techniques, some may even go as far as vacuum packing (suit yourself) and then at the last minute you glance over at the stray toiletry bag sitting on your bed. Now we can’t solve how to fit that in your suitcase, nor can we provide multiple 100ml bottles for your hand luggage, but we can tell you exactly what should be in that bag.
1. Travel make-up
We know it sounds like a trivial expenditure but a sneaky way around this is actually getting samples from makeup counters and using them while you’re away. It saves space, money, and also gives you the perfect opportunity to try out some new products that otherwise you might not!
2. Nail varnish – the full collection
Now we’re not saying all colours you own here, but remember the base, colour and top coat! So often you will chip your nails or get bored of the colour and you’ll be thankful of a change. They don’t take up much room and they’re always handy.
3. Summer scent
We all have our favourite perfume, but sometimes they’re a bit too heavy for the light and breezy atmosphere. So go for something a bit cleaner, try Bulgari Indian Garnet for its fresh scent.
4. Hair pre-lightener
This is more of a prep step but still important. If you have blonde or light brown hair then on holiday we all want to go a little lighter. Try either pre-bleachers which sound scary but with the right conditioner will be fine, or a jelly/spray lightener.
5. Lipsticks
It’s so easy to only bring the lipstick that is already in your handbag, but remember to bring more than one. They can so easily change your whole look and are just as important as any other part of your make-up routine.
We hope this makes at least one part of your packing regime easier.
