Japanese nail art at your fingertips
Nail art has become more and more extravagant and we see a lot more 3D nail art than we might have done ten years ago. At Never Too Much Glitter the nail art is amazing.
The lady behind Never Too Much Glitter, or NTMG as she signs off her e-mails, is an American woman who got her first taste of crazy nail art living in Tokyo. She couldn’t set up an easel in her tiny Tokyo apartment, so she started painting on nails as a design challenge. She sees each nail as a tiny canvas and she considers them to be one of her main mediums. Since discovering the world of nail art, she’s been to nail school and seminars to improve her craft. Her work has been featured in Women’s Day, BUST, Gothic Beauty, the LA Times, The Blush, The Huffington post, Nails Mag, Nail Up, Seventeen and many others.
The nail art looks so delicate that you’ll be afraid to do anything with them on. The girlish nails, galaxy nails, icing sugar nails and the spiked nails all have 3D elements on them. They look amazing and will make your nails really stand out from the crowd. You are really spoilt for choice on her website and you could probably have a different pair for every week of the year!
A lot of NTMG’s inspiration comes from her travels and her past. She loves colour and glitter and this clearly shows in her nail art.
