Diane von Fürstenberg: taking over iconic Paris department store windows in style

Diane von Fürstenberg is a Belgian-born American fashion designer best known for her iconic wrap dress which is about to celebrate its 40th anniversary. The luxury lifestyle brand named after the designer releases four complete collections a year and is available in over 70 countries.1

It was recently announced that the designer will be collaborating with one of Paris’ most iconic department stores, Galeries Lafayette, in order to celebrate the upcoming 40th anniversary of the wrap dress she is most recognised for.  The collection of 12 “heritage printed” dresses including a limited edition Amelia Dress and a selection of bags and small leather goods will be taking over 12 windows of the store and the main entrance as well as being sold on the third floor from the 3rd until 30th September. 2

The collection will launch just in time for the upcoming Paris Fashion Week with prices starting from £245 for one of the unique pieces.
