Christian Dior pairs up with The Princess Grace Foundation
French fashion powerhouse Dior have signed a three year contract with the regal charity group The Princess Grace Foundation-USA where they will be sponsors of any up-and-coming events.
There has always been a bond between the Christian Dior label and the charity; Grace Kelly had a great love for their luxurious clothes and would often wear their creations to public events. Dior also held their pre-spring/summer 2014 show in Monaco last year, perhaps foreshadowing what was to come.
The Princess Grace Foundation are also strong believers in the arts, they currently offer scholarships to emerging talent in fields such as TV, film and music as well as offering support where and when they can. The charity was started in 1982 after the death of Grace Kelly, who ultimately become known as The Princess of Monaco after she married Prince Rainer III- and has grown every year to become one of the most inspiring.
This wonderful duo will first work together this October for the Princess Grace Gala Awards that will take place in Los Angeles and Monte Carlo in 2015 and then New York City in 2016.
Prince Albert and Princess Charlene, the current Serene Highnesses, will be present for the awards show and although they are yet to be selected the winners will of course be present as will the Prince Rainer III Honouree.
