Best beachwear buys: Hitting the beach in style
It is officially bikini season and we’re looking at some of the hottest trends in beachwear this year. If you are like me and have an upcoming holiday and are struggling to find fab yet affordable swimwear then we’re doing this for you.
We are obsessed with social media and have been scoping a lot of online magazines/blogs recently featuring some sizzling hot celebrities in their sizzling hot swimwear. We take a lot of inspiration from the styles seen in magazines and have recently noticed that swimwear has switched up a little; it’s become a lot more fashionable now and there are a lot more different styles. We normally find it quite difficult to find swimwear that fits us right as well as looks great but this year we were pleasantly surprised and found so many that we were spoilt for choice.
We have seen quite a few celebs in “colour block” bikinis. We are in love with this “colour block” bustler bikini top and matching bottoms from River Island.
All-in-one swimsuits have definitely had a make-over these past few years and have become a lot more fashionable, edgier and sexier with the plunging necklines. We’ve selected these three from Missguided because we think they would just make any woman feel amazing on the beach. We love the plunging necklines, the frills (on the right) and the colours. That white bikini is just amazing and enhances that golden glow you’ve been working on all holiday.
High-waisted bikinis have become so popular with super stars like Beyoncé rocking them. We love this coral one from Topshop. We don’t know about you, but we tend to overeat a lot on holiday and find that this bikini kind of helps us out a little when having one of our “bloated” days.
Missguided has been one of our favourite online retailers for swimwear this year. We love the colours, ruffles and the style.
H&M have always been great for swimwear. The eye-popping colour and the ruffles on the bikini top give that extra bit of detail.
If you love a good cover up, these picks from Topshop are for you. We love the lime green tunic, perfect for the sunny beaches on holiday when it gets too hot. The white one could be worn on the beach and would even be perfect for an evening bite to eat out; it’s sophisticated and, of course, we are loving white right now when all golden.
