Tags-on.com: Designer afterlife
Ever wondered where used designer goods go when their owners tire of them? eBay seems a dangerous place for Fendi, and a charity shop is just a cruel way to go for Chanel, but Tags-on.com has it covered. A site where used designer goods most certainly do not come to rest, but come to be loved by many another owner.
The boutique e-tailer was founded by Vicky Silverthorne in 2013 following on from her wardrobe de-clutter business “You Need a Vicky”. From this she was certain that all of us girls have about £300 worth of unused clothes just hanging in the back of our wardrobes – uh oh. She decided that something had to be done; opening this site allows women to sell their old clothing with literally no hassle.
Tags-on manages everything (we mean everything), from taking the pictures to managing the listing, all you have to do is sit back and wait for the money to fall into your account so you can splurge and buy another designer goodie.
With the site including names such as YSL, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada (to name a few..) it targets the modern day woman with a passion for well-made clothing but also the likely baggage she already has in her wardrobe. The site also has benefits of actually encouraging people to have clear-outs and get the fashion recycling process turning.
And to put the cherry on the top, they also host celebrity clothing auctions including Ed Sheeran where the proceeds all go to charity.
So if you fancy de-cluttering, bagging yourself a Prada, or feel like owning something that Eliza Doolittle has worn and helping charity at the same time (how is this all true?!) then head on over to Tags-on.com. They won’t let you down.
