BCBGMAXAZRIA catwalk show report for NYFW S/S 2015
It was a hot, humid morning on the 4th September at Lincoln Center in New York City, and a packed house came to view the soft, sexy collection by iconic fashion designer Max Azria.
Founded in 1989, the brand has now expanded to more than 530 retail boutiques worldwide and is known for feminine, flirty women’s ready-to-wear and accessory collections.
Silhouettes were kept soft, flowing and airy with classic shapes and structured form. The models effortlessly breezed down the runway sporting sleek stick-straight hair and natural, bronze dewy make-up. Nails were coated in the softest pink, and the up-scale bohemian look was glamorous yet fun.
They were dressed in loose garments made up of shades of cream, light blue and pink, with pops of shimmer and sparkle that added a bit of excitement, alongside quiet florals. Always feminine and understated, the collection was well-received from the fashion crowd, which included actresses Jamie Chung, Shay Mitchell and Emily Meade.
