Daks catwalk show report for LFW S/S 2015
Flowing dresses, perfect ruffles and standout shapes at Daks London Spring Summer 2015 collection.
Daks London catwalk show took place this afternoon at the eminent Royal Opera House in Covent Garden on a perfect day. The collection had a smart and sophisticated feel to it with a stylish edge.
Designer of the brand Filippo Scuffi chose neutral colours for his collection as he opted for dusty purples, subtle silvers and warm greys. The collection reflected a smart and polished look. The brands classic designs won the audiences attention with rich and impeccable tailoring, Daks excelled in quality and style.
Models wore sleek fitted trousers with sheer Georgette sleeveless tops, while some looked effortlessly polished in halter neck jumpsuits.
High necks with soft ruffles were a hit with the brand. Fitted dresses also played a strikingly important role within the presentation of the collection. A long maxi dress with a low neck and cut out detailing at the bottom slid across the runway making the model look angelic a beautiful and memorable creation by Filippo Scuffi himself. Most models wore pointy metallic stilettos that perfectly complemented each outfit, while other models walked down the runway in metallic strapped sandals again balancing out the simplicity of the outfit and perfected it.
The brand revealed something fresh, modern and simple and the heritage label definitely stuck to its classic sharp tailoring.
