Felder Felder merge fashion with their love of music through Traktor DJ
Following the whirlwind of success received from their spring/summer 2015 collection at London Fashion Week, German twins Annette and Daniela Felder have turned their attention to DJing with the help of Traktor DJ. The iOS app, created by leading music production software manufacturer Native Instrument, gives everyone the opportunity to create stunning mixes.
The duo feature on an episode of Traktor DJ’s video series, Everybody DJ, where they explain their love of music and fashion, and how they often draw inspiration from their father’s old record collections. The short film tells us how the twosome approached the app designers after glowing recommendations through word-of-mouth.
They go on to explain that music creates a vision for their designs, with their latest collection inspired by 70s Ibiza – a wash of disco metallics and bohemian flares. It seems that musicians themselves adore the work of Felder Felder, with their following including Rihanna, Alison Mosshart and Florence Welch.

The video was shot during their after party at London Fashion Week, showcasing the sisters using the app, performing their DJ set to an audience and explaining the care and preparation that goes into planning their sets. Internationally renowned music producer, Arthur Baker has teamed up with the brand as their music director, not only producing the soundtrack for the video but also for all of their show music.
