Kim Sears weds Andy Murray in Jenny Packham
Hailstones and showers battered the quaint town of Dunblane just hours before tennis legend Andy Murray prepared to marry his long-term girlfriend Kim Sears. Despite the weather threatening to cast a shadow on the day, Sears dazzled in a beautiful vintage-style gown by British designer Jenny Packham.
The Packham dress featured an empire line silhouette with a gathered wrap bust that accentuated her small waist, whilst the cut out back gave the look a modern twist. The dress was hand-beaded with Swarovski crystals on the sleeves and waistband, which really made the dress stand out.
The groom stayed true to his Scottish heritage wearing a kilt in his family’s Murray of Ellbank tartan – a blue, green and yellow checked print.
Sears’ famous blow-dry was swept off her face with a crystal Kalmia headdress, topped off with a three metre silk tulle veil. She completed the look with a pair of classic silver Jimmy Choo sandals. Accompanied by four elegant bridesmaids in dusky pink dresses, as she walked into the church, Sears looked every inch the beautiful bride.
