Having grown up in the spotlight since the tender age of 10, Emma Watson has always been a well-known actress. Acclaimed for her role in Harry Potter as the beloved Hermione, she has grown into a woman before all of our eyes.

Not only did her career evolve, but so too did her style! She has been on the wish list of many a designer for over 15 years now and continues to grow as a fashion icon. With a campaign for Burberry and covers of Vogue, Elle and Glamour under her belt, we look back over this English rose’s rise to magical stardom.

On one of her first appearances on the red carpet, Emma wore this eclectic mixture of green and gold garments. And are those snakeskin shoes we spy? Even then, her style was innovative and fresh, even if she does look like something out of the forbidden forest! In any case, we will forgive her as we all know the early noughties style was, well, questionable.

Emma really stepped onto the style scene in 2010, with this yellow-gold Burberry dress at fashion week. The strappy black heels, mini beehive and clutch, give this outfit an edge and steered Emma into the social media’s eye.

Later on in 2010, Emma shocked her fans by chopping off all of her locks, into this pixie crop. Joined by many other female celebrities, who are increasingly going short. “It’s the most liberating thing I have ever done,” Emma told EW.com. She wore this gorgeous sheer lace and black feather dress, to mark the occasion on the red carpet.

Emma has got “airport style” down to a tee, as shown at the beginning of 2014. Wearing a petrol blue, knitted jumper and matching pleated skirt, she completed this outfit with some shiny, brown brogues. This outfit is sweet, practical and perfect for spring.

Another off-duty look we love is this black and grey outfit. The varsity jacket and tomboy jumper are casual, but the black skinnies, Chelsea boots and leather bag bring sophistication.

At the premiere of her film Noah in 2014, Emma’s dress was the talk of the media for weeks. The floor-length, Oscar de la Renta number truly demonstrated just how much she had grown as a woman. As she dominated the red carpet, she looked poised and perfectly ladylike in this jaw dropping, backless piece. Her diamond ear cuff was also the talk of the tabloids. This could be our favourite outfit of hers to date!

In December 2014, Emma attended the British Fashion Awards in this Misha Nonoo jumpsuit. This white number is styled with small gold hoops and a red lip, giving the look a modern twist. Not many people can get away with a halter-neck and plunging neck line, whilst still looking reminiscent of Hollywood Glamour.

Emma looks fantastic in this black tailored suit at Paris Fashion Week in 2014. She looks chic with her hair sleeked back and a dark lip. The breezy blouse brings a more feminine feel to this androgynous look and we love that Lulu Guinness bag she’s holding!
