Christopher Kane’s neon-fuelled collaboration with NARS
British designer Christopher Kane has announced his first make-up collaboration with renowned beauty line Nars on a limited edition collection set to make neon-neutrals on the top of our beauty list this season.
The “no make-up make-up” has been a firm catwalk favourite with designers for the past few seasons and the Christopher Kane spring/summer 2015 show at London Fashion Week was no exception. Kane showed beauty lovers how to do dewy, glowing, even-toned skin with Nars as his secret weapon.
The collection integrates neon shades with neutral tones, with products that are translucent enough to highlight and flatter the skin. The range combines colours like the radical magenta illuminating stick or violet eye shadow with understated nude blushes, which transform themselves into dramatic but wearable space-age looks. Fashion blogger Ruth Crilly gave huge credit to the collaboration, saying “it’s a lot more wearable than you think, it’s actually quite clever”.
“Nars has been a long-standing and valued partner of ours, so this collaboration was an obvious fit,” said Kane back in September, having worked with the brand on shows since 2012.
We certainly can’t wait to get our hands on Nars’ and Kane’s eclectic make-up sensation.

The collection will be launching in the UK on 1st May at the Christopher Kane flagship store on Mount Street and in Selfridges before becoming available on NARSCosmetics.co.uk on 15th May. The products will be released nationwide from 1st June.
