Lindsay Lohan teams up with Lavish Alice
Lindsay Lohan has teamed up with British-based fashion label, Lavish Alice, to launch a new capsule collection due to arrive this summer. Designed by the actress herself, the autumn/winter collection will comprise of 16-pieces and be released in mid June.
Lindsay, now 28, has been living the city girl life since she moved to London and has been seen donning the Lavish Alice brand over the past few months. We are glad to see her making a comeback, after all the notorious tabloid tales of the childhood star; it’s great to see her doing something creative and positive.
“I’ve been a huge fan of Lavish Alice since moving to London, it’s a cool British brand and a collaboration with them was a natural next step” Lindsay said in a statement.
The collection will feature dresses and separates, in keeping with the brand’s simple and clean aesthetic. Lindsay is fronting the campaign herself and was shot by industry favourite Rankin. This makes perfect sense as the foundation for the pieces stemmed from Lindsay’s own wardrobe. There are hints of a 70s vibe, with details of fringing and tassels, but in a basic and neutral palette of black, navy, white and grey.
Lindsay looks sultry and elegant in the soft tailored garments and she spoke in a statement about what a delight it was to work with the brand. “Designing with the team was a dream, as they really understand my style. Fashion designing is every girl’s fantasy and I’ve had so much fun putting my stamp on the brand.”
The items will be priced between £38 and £74 and will be available online globally. You will even be able to pick up the pieces through ASOS, Very.co.uk and Nasty Gal.
