Watch Chanel’s playful new campaign for Eau Vive
Pioneers of fragrance, Chanel certainly have a lot to live up to with their latest release being the fourth instalment of the Chance range, entitled Eau Vive. This wonderfully vibrant scent is comprised of grapefruit, blood orange accord with jasmine and white musk – the perfect zesty fragrance for summer.
Chanel have accompanied their print campaign with a playful commercial video, directed by Jean-Paul Goude and starring French model, Rianne van Rompeay. The campaign mixes fantasy with femininity as four ladies enjoy a bowling game with the use of Chanel Chance bottles. The hashtag #TakeYourChance is being encouraged over Twitter to discuss this dreamy ad.
Eau Vive has been created by Oliver Polge, son of Jacques Polge, the former perfumer for Chanel who had worked on the entirety of their fragrance range until his retirement in 2013. Eau Vive is Oliver Polge’s second fragrance for the brand. As his father once said: “Perfume is a poetic form. It’s a language that uses neither words nor images, and yet it’s one everyone can speak in their own way.” Oliver continues to echo his father’s philosophy.
