Heathrow Airport reveals the world’s most popular lipstick shades
Are you a Londoner or a New Yorker? Well, it will depend on your lipstick choices.
The International Lipstick Colour of the Year report, commissioned by Heathrow Airport, has revealed the most en vogue shades around the globe.
The top lipstick shade trending in 50 cities has been discovered by analysing global lipstick sales data, gathering insights from Heathrow’s beauty team and the unrivalled knowledge of award-winning beauty journalist, Alice Hart-Davis.
Hart-Davis commented: “It’s a tiny thing but it makes a massive difference to the way you look – and the way you feel. It can change your mood and boost your morale in five seconds flat”.
Heathrow Airport is currently displaying a celebratory capsule collection of lipsticks, hand-carved into mini sculptures by British artist Hedley Wiggan. Using the most popular shades from the survey, Wiggan has transformed the traditional bullet into the world’s most visited landmarks: Big Ben, Eiffel Tower, Burj Khalifa, Statue of Liberty and Shanghai’s Tower.
The designs will be available to purchase at Terminal 5 for the next month, as part of their International Lipstick Colour of the Year showcase.
