Aganovich catwalk show report | PFW S/S 2016
Nana Aganovich showcased a tasteful collection of spring/summer 2016 garments at Paris Fashion Week. Prominent shades that swept the runway consisted of black, white, pale pink, deep purple, and dark red, as striped, abstract, and animal-inspired patterns adorned many of the materials.
The designer used angular cuts and mismatched seams on many of the pieces, further reiterating her knack for edgy-but-classy looks. The majority of pieces were paired with tie-like scarves further decorating the outfits, and following the oversized trend that has been seen on many runways this week.
Loose-fitting blouses, jackets and slacks were also focal points of the collection. Masculine pieces were paired with striking cuts and patterns that balanced the looks with an aspect of femininity. One shoulder toga-like dress as well as elegant headscarf displayed the designer’s eloquent and tasteful style in this timeless collection.
