Balmain x H&M collection leaked online
Photos from potentially one of the most anticipated fashion partnerships in recent years have finally surfaced on the web. The Balmain and H&M collaboration is here, so it’s time to start that early Christmas list.
Models Kendall Jenner, Jourdan Dunn and Gigi Hadid were photographed months ago rocking the designs on the red carpet as they attended the Billboard Music Awards and later promotional images surfaced of them modelling the stand-out pieces from the fashion line.
The French haute couture fashion house is famous for its highly embellished, intricately beaded and beautifully structured designs and it seems that the collection for H&M shall follow that route; Balmain is here to help you inject some high end celebrity style into your wardrobe.
Rich colours are a focus of the collection with bold emerald, royal purple and deep red all making their way on to dresses, jackets and jewellery alike. Monochrome breaks up the opulent rainbow palette with black still remaining luxurious due to the iconic glamour of Oliver Rousteing.
The 80s appears to be an inspiration for this lavish range with shoulder pads, structured blazers and oversized gold details such as belts, buttons and bangles all grasping for attention. The styling of the look book even screams Dallas with chandelier earrings, side swept hair and cinched-in waists used to beautify the clothes. A refreshing change from the recent wave of 70s style and a much more enchanting look, Rousteing has gone full-on glamour to create a high volume fashion collection that is for red carpet opulence.
The collection is brimming with dazzling party-ready dresses and statement designs and also features jewellery and even a fragrance. With a release date of 5th November, it’s the perfect time to pick a Christmas present or outfit for the party season. There is no news on prices as of yet but they are set to reach the £400 mark – although you can never put a price on style.
