Henry Holland collaborates with Habitat
An unexpected and exciting collaboration has been announced for the world of interior design: House of Holland is teaming up with London’s favourite furniture company, Habitat.
Henry Holland is the creative mind behind the gloriously British fashion label, House of Holland, famed for its quirky aesthetic, London-inspired designs and beautifully bright prints.
Not only does House of Holland create eccentric clothing but it has also dabbled in stationary, eyewear and press-on nails – each collection as exceptional as the last. With stockists across the globe, including Net-A-Porter, Harvey Nichols and Selfridges to name but a few, now is as a good a time as any to introduce the world of House of Holland for Habitat.
According to the Habitat blog, the partnership has been in the pipeline for some time but they only recently announced that an official collection will soon be heading our way.
Set for a May 2016 release, the range will be a S/S 2016 line and Holland has already offered some interesting insight into what he has to offer. The 70s, psychedelic style and hallucinatory patterns are all set to play a part with new materials and techniques being used for his first ever interior design series.
Three images have been revealed in conjunction with this British alliance, each including a sprinkling of insects in loud and lurid colours, including an luminous aqua beetle, surrounded by a leopard print trim. These already scream 70s psychedelic hallucinations – just what Henry Holland has promised us.
With the unveiling still a way off, we hope to see new images and official designs in the New Year.
