This afternoon, season five Project Runway winner Leanne Marshall presented a chic and elegant 44-piece autumn/winter 2016 collection at Skylight Clarkson Square for New York Fashion Week.
Black chiffon cocktail dresses were followed by brown, silver and rust silk gowns creating warm and effortlessly chic looks. The front rows of the show were filled with fashion bloggers, stylists and admires of the brand. Miss Universe 2014 Pia Wurtzbach was also in attendance adding excitement and buzz to an already vibrant scene.
Light and sophisticated designs made everybody forget about chilling winds outside of the Skylight building, and all in attendance were mesmerised by the elegance of the models graciously walking the runway. Deep V-necks, open backs, lace, skilfully-made draping and gorgeous beaded details made this collection distinct and unforgettable.
Leanne Marshall, a fashion designer by calling, started her fashion career as a child, often choosing sketching over playing with other children. Her big breakthrough happened after winning Project Runway in 2008. Since then Leanne presented her collections in NYFW and around the world.
