Road to the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2016: Isaac McHale – The Clove Club

Road to the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2016: Isaac McHale – The Clove Club

Housed in the stunningly refurbished Shoreditch Town Hall, the Clove Club opened to critical acclaim in 2013 and has been going from strength to strength ever since. It’s well known for its open kitchen, located at the head of the dining room, which gives customers a unique chance to see the chefs at work. Head chef Isaac McHale enjoyed a brief spell at Noma, but gained the majority of his experience in The Ledbury, an influence that shows in the consistent precision of his dishes and brilliant touch with vegetables. We met with Isaac to discuss the upcoming World’s 50 Best and what the Clove Club will do next.
