Kate Moss is helping Adidas relaunch the Gazelle
She rocked them at the start of her career in the 90s and now Britain’s favourite mode,l Kate Moss, is joining forces with Adidas to make the iconic Gazelle trainer happen, again.
It doesn’t look like the 90s trends will be going anywhere anytime soon; we’ve had the return of the crop top, the choker and Calvin Klein underwear, and now the classic and undeniably comfortable Adidas Gazelle has made a return to its former glory.
Kate Moss was first photographed wearing a pair of red Gazelle trainers back in 1993 as a fresh-faced 19-year-old, who was yet to make waves in the modelling industry. Over 20 years later, Moss is one of the most talked about fashion models to have walked the runway. It seems fitting that the supermodel who made the Gazelle as popular as it was all those years ago, is the one who shows just how timeless they really are.
Moss has voiced her passion for not only the brand but for the trainer itself, claiming it to be the shoe everybody wore in the 90s. The promotional image that has everybody amped up for the return features the old photo of Moss, spliced with black and white images that give the picture a modern edge.
The trainers are available on the Adidas website now, in a variety of colours for both men and women, including black and pink, all white and bright green.
