Chloe Gosselin spring/summer 2017 collection presentation for NYFW

Today, 32-year-old French model-turned-accessories-designer Chloe Gosselin presented her shoe collection in the swanky Milk Studios of New York City’s Meatpacking District. Ms Gosselin finds her inspiration in creations of such style icons and fashion influencers as Ossie Clark and Celia Birtwell. Her style is distinctive but feminine and romantic. The spring/summer 2017 collection was rich in its presentation and ingrained multi-strap, ankle strap, mesh and tassel details. Beautiful shoes were resting on beds of pale pink, lavender and purple flowers enclosed in glass – enhancing the feeling of romanticism and sensuality. Other new styles feature floral appliqués with colour blocks and are lively and vibrant. Judging by the presented collection, fringe remains in style and is as popular as ever.

Chloe Gosselin signature styles have been made in sapphire, emerald, ruby and denim. Characteristic strappy sandals are in classic silver and black, adding them to the must-have list of every fashionista – a big step from the designer’s somewhat modest, rural upbringing in Normandy, France. By her own admission, while she was sketching the shoes from a very young age, her mother never wore heels until little Chloe was four and then she had to wear tiny heels for work. The designer-to-be was obsessed which transitioned into her adult life career path. Overall, Chloe Gosselin’s shoe collection is a true work of art, innovative, desirable, sophisticated and vibrant. It is meant to attract, seduce and stand out.
