Art Hearts Fashion spring/summer 2017 collection catwalk show for NYFW
Art Hearts Fashion brings together the fashion and art communities to celebrate creativity and champion an important cause. Art Hearts Fashion supports two wonderful charities: the AIDS Healthcare Foundation and Keep the Promise 2016. The Aids Healthcare Foundation provides AIDS prevention education as well as healthcare to those living with AIDS whereas Keep the Promise aims to remind people that the fight to cure AIDS is not over and that there are still people globally without access to the best medications and treatments for AIDS.
The show is a popular staple on the fashion week calendar – the line of guests snaked around the block with fashion and art fans eagerly anticipating the event. The atmosphere was vibrant and festive as people packed into the show.
Over the course of the evening two runway shows took place allowing six designers had the opportunity to showcase their lines to an audience of philanthropic fashion lovers.
The event took place at the Angel Orensanz Event Space in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The space, which is one of the oldest remaining Gothic Revival Synagogues in New York, created a dramatic setting for both the art and fashion exhibited.
Designers at the evening’s event included Hale Bob, Ibrahim Vukel, Sanja Bobar, Fernando Alberto Atelier with F Rodriguez, Elochee and Wilfredo Gerardo. Between runway the shows, guests were able to sip cocktails while looking at an art installation in the space
