KENZO x H&M launches today
The much-anticipated KENZO collaboration with H&M launches today. And, be warned, there will be chaos.
The limited edition range is a celebration of the brand’s vibrant heritage, bursting with vivid prints and playful silhouettes that certainly aren’t intended for the faint-hearted.
Creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon spent time delving into the Kenzo archives for inspiration. Unsurprisingly, contrasting colours and clashing patterns rule this collection, often with the addition of feminine details such as ribbons and ruffles, creating a folkloric charm. Sporty shapes and kimono cuts are also present, adding a unique and modern attitude to the designs.
Excited shoppers have been queuing since the early hours at H&M stores across London – including Oxford Street, High Street Kensington and Westfield Stratford – hoping to be first through the doors. The collection will also be available on the website – but be quick!
