F&F launches Hat with a Heart campaign to support people in need this Christmas
For the third year running, Tesco has joined forces with two leading charities for their Hat with a Heart campaign, which supports people in need at Christmas.
An exclusive range of novelty hats has been created, guaranteed to bring joy to all the family and spread some festive cheer. With prices starting at just £5, £1 from each sale will be donated to non-profit organisations The Trussell Trust and FareShare.
There are currently over thirteen million people living below the poverty line in the UK, and these charities work to tackle this problem by offering food, shelter and support to anyone in need. The Trussell Trust runs 420 food banks across the country, which provide three days’ emergency food supplies to those in crisis. Meanwhile, FareShare concentrates on redistributing food to homeless shelters, children’s breakfast clubs and domestic violence refuges.
Charlotte Reyland, childrenswear assistant buyer at F&F, says, “This time of year can be a struggle for many people and we hope that the money raised will continue to make a real difference. We know that this is something our customers and colleagues hold close to their hearts, and in the past they’ve shown incredible generosity. Hat with a Heart has been a brilliant opportunity to partner with two great charities in a fun and unique way.”
The full range is available now in store and online.
