CG by Chris Gelinas autumn/winter 2017 collection presentation for NYFW
The CG catwalk show began with a black jumpsuit with three shearling bands on the left arm, a romper suit with fringes and a multi-layered tassel jacket. The statement fringe reappeared in the form of a stylish tux dress, and another mini turtleneck dress that flared at the hip.
The black colour scheme faded when a model appeared in a seven-tiered swish skirt that alternated shades of black and burgundy. The skirt was paired with a sparkling red, striped wool shirt. Elsewhere, shearling arm bands reappeared on a wool cocoon jacket, featuring a bright golden zip and oversized pockets.
The first crop top appeared in dazzling red with matching pants, and was worn with a contrasting pair of blue suede ankle boots. The pockets on the pants took up majority of the thigh space. A mermaid inspired ruffle skirt peaked out of a long grey trench coat, again featuring a shearling collar. Floral patterns were next, found on suit trousers, long skirts, tiered circle dresses and brilliantly paired with a simple and sleek black turtleneck.
For the accessories, CG went with gold tassel earrings and exclusive hats and headpieces by GiGi Burris.
