Namilia autumn/winter 2017 collection catwalk show for NYFW
The Namilia autumn/winter 2017 collection followed a colour scheme of silver, red, black, purple, and orange. The bright neon colours were truest in the trimmings of a fire addition and in the cross layering of the bottom of a short set and leather jacket. The fire look was the most dramatic when these additions and trimmings would drag along behind the model.
Besides the overstuffed bubble coats, which would hang off the shoulders, there was a one-piece coat, with its bottom functioning as a body suit. Sometimes the army fatigue design or the lower checkerboard design would offset the flaming hot theme, and provide an extra layer of design. The platform leather skater boots went well with pieces that exposed the upper back and bottom area. One sweatshirt in particular had wings on the breastplate, attached to a corset with a train.
In contrast, a racer jacket and leggings with cross stitched cutouts fed into a pair of classic black pumps. The shorts were also leather, and the neckline was a fire addition with a transparent opening in the chest area. A cross stitched cut-out dress seemed to be the most feminine with a hoodie underneath, and black underwear and stockings peeking through the holes. Elsewhere, the halter top poncho came in a suit of sorts, with glittery silver tracks down the arms and legs, lined in the trendy fire trimmings.
For accessories, Namilia went with airbrushed paint on the exposed areas, which came in blue, orange or red sprayed on the arms, legs and chest.
