Alexa Chung launches debut collection
The widely anticipated clothing line from Alexa Chung has finally arrived. For years now, Chung has been recognised as a fashion icon, as a result of her providing an endless amount of style inspiration with her signature looks. From dungarees to chic evening dresses, her retro and playful wardrobe has managed to be the envy of many due to her stand out style.
With previous collaborations with AG Jeans, Marks & Spencer and Superga, it was to be expected that her natural next step would be to launch a range of her own. Chung has started her collection off with 145 clothing and accessory pieces. To celebrate the unveiling of the collection, she debuted the range at a north London church that included a children’s choir and plenty of confetti.
On her Instagram, when thanking her team, she wrote, “A plethora of legends. Thank you to this cluster of wonderful women and to the extraordinary people working very hard behind the scenes at @alexachungstagram to make these imagined clothes a reality. I am grateful beyond expression.”
It can be said that the clothes featured in the collection perfectly encapsulate Chung’s sense of style that she has established over the years. With 70s-inspired flares, graphic T-shirts and relaxed feminine dresses, the clothing line stands out for being reminiscent of Chung’s aesthetic.
Here are some of our favourite pieces:

The collection will retail at selected sellers such as Selfridges, Matches Fashion, MyTheresa, SSENSE as well as online. Many items already appear to have sold out, so we wouldn’t recommend waiting around if you’re interested!
