Gucci is launching an interior collection
Italian fashion house, Gucci, have made all fashionistas and interior lover’s dreams come true: they are launching their own decor collection.
Gucci’s very own Alessandro Michele has designed an exquisite range of products, which will incorporate vibrant colours and electric prints. Alessandro said, “Gucci is pleased to announce the launch of Gucci Décor, an eclectic collection of items with which customers can dress their own spaces.” He continued, “The idea is not to prescribe a particular decorative look, but to provide elements that allow for living spaces to be customised.”
We are in awe over the illustrations, which brought a beautiful child-like feel to the decor designs. This was all down to illustrator Alex Merry Art and her quirky style of work.
For those who love to cover their bed or sofa in cushions, you should get your hands on the velvet square beauties from the collection. They feature motifs, including the Angry Cat, Tiger Head and Kingsnake, which were all hand-applied to the fabric. We can’t decide if we want to lie on them or hang them up as though they’re art work.
For everyone wondering what else you could possibly get your hands on, the collection will also include candles, incense trays, chairs, screens, wallpaper, metal trays, and metal folding tables – all adorned with the brand’s iconic maximalist design motifs. All of the above have been inspired by Michele’s fashion collections.
The collection is due to launch in September, so put it in your diary, as we know this collection is going to sell out faster than you can say “Gucci Décor”!
