Just In XX autumn/winter 2018 collection catwalk show for NYFW
Justin Yu-Ying Chou launched his latest line, Just In XX, for fall 2018. The line further explores his east-meets-west street style esthetic that he started with his line Just In Time in 2013. The designer draws from both his classical training and Taiwanese heritage to create a unique and fashion-forward collection.
The Just In XX runway showed looks for both men and women and there was a strong point of view and seamless style that made the menswear and womenswear completely cohesive. As a collection, there was a sense of creativity as well as commercial appeal in the range of well-thought-out pieces.
The several of the standout looks on the runway truly showed the range of appeal that the designer has. The first was a vibrant green mini dress with a top and sleeves covered with oversized ruffles and paired with knee socks. The look was bright, fresh, and would suit a young fashion lover well.
At the same time, another look featured an updated moto jacket and chic black pants styled with a tulle skirt that had a modern but timeless appeal. It looked like women of all ages could mix and match the pieces in the look to create something individual and fitting to their style.
It was hard to believe that this was the first collection for Just In XX, Chou seems to have really hit his mark with this brand. This is one to watch in the fashion world.
