The Silent Revolution: An interview with Lena Klenke and Tom Gramenz
Lena Klenke and Tom Gramenz star in Das schweigende Klassenzimmer (The Silent Revolution), a real life story about ideological East German students in 1956 who innocently start a chain reaction which causes their government to fight back with sinister force.
We sat down with two of the young stars of the film and talked about whether contemporary students are as politically aware as their predecessors, and the nervousness of watching their performance in the film for the first time.
