Net-A-Porter teams up with designers and celebrities for International Women’s Day
For this year’s International Women’s Day luxury fashion webshop Net-A-Porter is releasing a capsule collection of six original T-shirt designs. The London based e-tailer has joined forces with six female designers and will be donating all proceeds of the sale of the tops to charity organisation Women for Women International.
It’s been an eventful few months with hashtags like #MeToo and #TimesUp trending all over the internet and it’s safe to say that we are due a celebration. 8th March marks International Women’s Day, a day on which we recognise the accomplishments of women all around the globe and draw attention to women’s issues, specifically gender equality. And of course you are going to want to celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day in style.
If you are looking for a spring update for your wardrobe or to top up on your feminist fashion then you have to check out Net-A-Porter.com. Stella McCartney, Chloé, Ganni, Bella Freud, Rosie Assoulin and Off-White have each created a unique design which carries an inspirational message on a fashionable white backdrop.
All the proceeds of this capsule collection will be going to Women for Women International. This charity organisation has been working to help marginalised women in war torn countries since 1993. The organisation supplies women with the tools and skills to become self-sufficient and attain stability after periods of crisis. Women for Women International has helped more than 462,000 women across eight countries affected by conflict.
Many famous faces have been sporting the Net-A-Porter tops on Instagram such as Dakota Fanning and Nicole Kidman. The tees are available online. What will you be sporting this International Women’s Day?
