What does your car say about your style?
From attention seekers to the simple persona, it is easy to predict your style based on your car.
Disagree? Well, can you remember the last time you bought a car? When you didn’t just go to your car dealer and pointed “I want that one”, and that was it. No, there was budget, comfort, colour preference and other things that motivated your choice. Not just the buying process but also how you take care of your car reveals a lot about you. You said you were going to take it to the mechanic tomorrow. Your tomorrow is like three weeks ago. What does that say about you? Let’s just agree a car says a lot about someone’s style.
The car’s brand is an extension of the driver’s image.
With the many car brands out there such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Toyota, Ford and so forth your choice may not really be a coincidence. If you drive a BMW, you probably got a promotion at work and got some cash to upgrade. You are a millennial and think yourself as cooler than most people around you. Fashion and contemporary music are your things.
If you are a Mercedes guy or lady, then you are all about premium products. If you drive a Lexus you are past 50 and your favourite past time is golfing.
The colour of your car is frequently associated with your personality
If you drive a red car, you must love attention. You are also a go-getter and ambitious fellow. Going for what you want is not a matter of debate. Silver is for the business types, and a grey one is for someone who doesn’t think much about cars. For them, it is a day at a time.
With a green car in the street, you don’t really care much about people’s opinion because you have a strong sense of self. White is for perfectionists and black is for someone who loves class but still longs for more in life. Black also represents power.
Your relationship status is associated with how practical your car is
If you are driving a seven-seater, definitely it’s a family car, and you are the husband, the wife or the elder child. It is possible you inherited it from your family as a gift. Saloon car is mostly for young people who are either single or just newly married.
Just how clean is your car?
There are some disgusting cars out there if you look around. From food remains to dirty gym clothes to plastic trash, or even spoilt gadgets, you will be surprised by what you find in dirty cars. A study has indicated that the drivers who keep the interior of their car dirty are often bad drivers.
Your car is like your home, you drive to work, sit in traffic, run errands and sometimes sleep in your car. So if you don’t find the time to clean it, then you may not have the time to clean your home, visit the dentist regularly, or mow the lawn. You are either bombarded with other things or just don’t care.
A sparkling car on the hand suggests that you may be a perfectionist and a responsible person. You do things even when you don’t feel like, and most likely, you have your priorities right.
