Trying 786 Cosmetics for the first time: The halal nail polish

Probably most of you haven’t heard about it yet, but 786 Cosmetics is a new company specialised in making halal nail polish that is water permeable, meaning water can penetrate through the coat. This allows users to be able to perform wudu and pray without having to remove it. These products are vegan and cruelty-free too! For those concerned with the impact of your daily habits in the environment, this is a great option and it comes in a wide variety of colours. In addition, it does not contain formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, camphor, DBP, xylene or parabens.

After trying some of them, Marrakech has to be on the top of our list. An intense red able to fit any skin colour and outfit – with personality but still elegant and classy. The quality of the nail polish is surprisingly good, considering this is a relatively new brand in the market. The finish of the first coat is very clean and it dries quite fast, leaving a shiny intense red on your nails. On this note, 786 nail polishes use a non-peelable formula that lasts anywhere from 7 to 10 days with just one application. Although I tend to apply a second coat I don’t think it will be necessary this time, and this is a great plus. In terms of time and money-saving.

Speaking about saving money, these nail polishes come in a 12ml format for a price of 12.95$ each. As mentioned before, they have a good variety of colours that reach 14 different ones, going from the most common reds and pinks with some neutrals to the boldest ones like the beautiful golden Dubai or the mint green Fez. All named after the cities that inspired the beautiful range. They also offer a customised gift box with three nail polishes of your choice for only $35, which is the minimum to be eligible for free shipping (at least to the US and Canada). For international orders, the minimum is $55.

Regarding shipping, you won’t have to wait much for your nail polish to be delivered to your doorstep. 786 uses express shipping on all their orders, so you can expect to start using your new item after 2 or 3 days if you live in the States or Canada. Again international delivery will take a bit longer: up to two weeks)

The packaging looks well-crafted too, with degrading mandala patterns at the top and bottom over an elegant black colour that reveals the brand name in white as well as their previously mentioned certifications and social media sites.
