MTV Movie & TV Awards 2018: Red carpet
Unlike the red carpet looks we’re used to seeing at say the Oscars or The Met Gala, the MTV Movie awards arrivals are always that bit more laid back and playful. This is a chance for stars to still dress up, but to have fun with their looks without the need to adhere to a precise dress code. Here are some of the most noteworthy outfits of the night.
Kristen Bell arrived in an adorable, long sleeved mini dress with see through broderie anglaise panelling to up the glam factor. She teamed her dress with a pair of pointed black sling backs and gold statement earrings.
Bringing some high fashion to the red carpet as usual, Zendaya wore an architecturally structured, brown mini dress with a particularly voluminous skirt! Styled with gold disc earrings and pointed, heeled brown pumps the actress looked fantastically chic.
The Riverdale star was absolutely stunning in a floor length, sheer black gown printed with what appeared to be swallows in flight. With thigh high splits on each side and a bodice made from delicate black lace, her gown was both dramatic and ultra feminine.
Always the picture of glamour, Olivia Munn stunned on the red carpet wearing a daringly low cut, green velvet jumpsuit, complemented perfectly by the stars sleek, dark brown locks.
Aubrey wore a beautiful, pastel pink mini dress with a glittery gold butterfly print and statement sleeves for her turn on the red carpet.
Jasmine Sanders was a vision in yellow as she arrived at the event in a floor length, belted lemon shirt dress. Jasmine finished off her bold look with a black leather shoulder bag and on trend small framed sunglasses.
The star of Glow certainly had fun with this look. A conservative long sleeved, black and silver bodice made up the top half of her look whilst an attached see through midi skirt brought a playful element along with her tremendously extended ponytail.
Alisha looked pretty and elegant in a simple white midi dress, silver jewellery and heeled sandals.
