This weekend, Standon Calling – now in its 13th year – will offer a welcoming embrace to an array of music, arts, fun and pure festival joy. Heading up the bill in 2018 are pop sensation Paloma Faith, Roxy Music icon Bryan Ferry and the most talked-about name in modern pop George Ezra –now celebrating the stellar success of his latest album Staying At Tamara’s with a special homecoming headline set, topping the bill just down the road from where he grew up. They’ll be joined by a staggering array of names from the likes of Goldfrapp, Django Django, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Horrors and Gaz Coombes.
As well as the music, Standon Calling promises the full 360-degree experience. Located just a stone’s throw away from London, the event unfolds across the grounds of Standon Lordship, offering non-stop fun and unique moments that visitors can dive into. The electronic royalty continues, with indie-tronic icons Hot Chip Megamix injecting a carnival atmosphere by fusing sounds from their wide range of influences for the ultimate party sound system moment. Pulp icon Jarvis Cocker will be dropping in with a unique and unmissable DJ set, one of his only festival appearances this summer as he soundtracks celebrations in a manner only this frontman can.
