Markus Lupfer spring/summer 2019 collection presentation for LFW

 

Markus Lupfer’s spring/summer 2019 collection was a fine example of what this designer does best: feminine silhouettes and lust-worthy accessories.

Bubblegum shades of pink, blue and mint emphasised an array of ultra-glamorous – yet completely wearable – pieces. One metallic lilac shirt was tucked into a mid-length pleated skirt, adorned with a ditsy floral print, producing a chic aesthetic that would make an entrance at any summer soiree.

The glam factor was turned up a notch with another lavender-coloured dress, which featured sheer panelling and lace trims, completed with a smothering of sequins which effortlessly shimmered under the light.

An element of comfort was also present in the form of a striped jumpsuit, created in a sky blue rib knit that moved without restriction.

Each look flattered the figure; dresses and skirts were frequently cinched at the waist, and teamed with trademark heeled sandals or boots. The addition of angled sunglasses and statement earrings ensured this latest collection retained its eternally cool style.
