The Women’s World Cup will be held from 7th June to 7th July 2019. Who says soccer is for men? It should be no surprise that there are many women who play the sport with spectacular finesse. The host nation is France and this is the eighth edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
In total, there are nine venues with teams participating from across the globe including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Canada, England, China, Japan, Korea Republic, Netherland, New Zealand, France, Germany, Italy, Jamaica, USA, Scotland, Thailand, Spain, South Africa, Nigeria and Sweden.
Looks like this is going to be a terrific event! Plus, it is always pleasant to see women performing at the top of their game in such a global spectacle. This puts an end to gender stereotyping!
For basketball enthusiasts
The NBA Finals will be concluding in the month of June. The playoffs started in April and the All-Star Game was played in the month of February. This is the ultimate favourite for all the basketball enthusiasts! While the finals are about to come to an end, keen followers are looking forward to next year’s All-Star Game.

Excited for Wimbledon in July? London’s premier sports event will be live on television from 1st July to 14th July 2019. This is the oldest tennis sports event which is played in the All England Club. The event started in the year 1877 and billions of viewers look forward to this event. Tour de France
The 106th Edition of the famous event, Tour de France, will start from 6th of July, 2019 and will end on 28th July. The popular cycling event has 21 stages and the participants shall speed through two countries, France and Belgium. The event is similar to the one that happened in 2018 and will see two exciting time trials.
2019 Cricket World Cup
Everyone has their eyes glued to the television because of the 2019 Cricket World Cup which is already in full swing! This is the 12th edition and the hosts are Wales and England. It started on 30th May and will continue to entertain sports enthusiasts until the 14th of July. There are ten participants in the ICC World Cup 2019. According to recent feedback and survey of World Cup fans, there are mixed views of who is going to win! The mystery shall be revealed soon enough!
