Hazzys by JD.com spring/summer 2020 collection catwalk show for LFW

The Hazzys brand is centralised around sophistication, a concept certainly achieved in the SS20 collection. By creating a blend of neutral tones alongside strong pops of colour, the label produces its signature style of traditionally British-influenced urban streetwear.

The collection is a diverse dichotomy of tailoring: from traditional suits, boiler suits, hunting jackets and trench coats to half-shoulder pieces with mismatched fronts in diverse colours. Despite this innovative style, core pieces such as utility vests and long-line polo shirts stand out in this collection due to the detail and quality of design, apparent even to the casual eye.

While pale pinks and blues are already established within the brand’s repertoire, bright reds and yellows are an unexpected and welcome treat within the collection. Patterns of tartan are naturally present throughout, but they never threaten to dominate the classically simple designs.

60s influences evident, the SS20 collection is a chic reintroduction to Hazzys brand, with classically masculine silhouettes mirrored against softer features in flowing, straight-line skirts and dresses.
