Ways to pass the time if you are self-quarantined at home due to corona virus
The corona virus is spreading throughout the world. The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared an international emergency to stop this pandemic. People are being routinely screened at airports and people with symptoms are being asked to report to medical centres immediately. Some celebrities like Tom Hanks have already tested positive for the virus. If you do not have symptoms but if you have recently travelled to a location that has been found to be infected with the virus or if you have had recent contact with a person who has been found to be infected you need to self-quarantine yourself. Even if you only have a cough, you’ll have to stay isolated for at least seven days. Many people are being quarantined at home now and it really becomes difficult to pass the time when you are at home, given below are a few ways to pass the time if you are self-quarantined at home:
Read
Most of us have stopped reading books because we do not have the time to do it. When you are at home, use the precious time to read the book which you have wanted to, for a long time. If you are not an avid reader, do not worry, you can still read the book till you fall asleep, you need sleep too anyway to recharge yourself.
Play
You can play with your kids at home; it is an activity that will surely rejuvenate you and keep your mind away from viruses. You can also play games on your smart phone or iPads etc. If you like sport-related games there’s an ever-growing selecion. Check out duckdice review and see what it means to have a chance to play for money while at home.
Organise your home
Most of us always defer cleaning and organizing the home. We always have important matters at hand that need to be dealt with rather than cleaning and organising. If you are at home for two weeks on quarantine, you can and should use this time to clean the home and organise it as you want it to be. Do not do this all at once. Do the organising one room at a time. There will be a lot of things that you need to get rid of, do not keep things just for the heck of it, if you have not used an item for a year, then you most probably do not need it.
Learn something new
You can utilise the time to learn something new. Nowadays you can get tutorials on any subject. For example: if you want to learn the guitar you have hundreds of videos doing just that, you can sit down and learn and practice. A new skill can be developed during this trying time.
