The Upcoming is offering one 4K Blu-ray copy of Tremors directed by Ron Underwood, S S Wilson, Brent Maddock and Don Michael Paul, which is available on Blu-ray from 14^th December.

Tremors is the first installment of a six-part film series. The 1990 feature follows handymen Val and Earl as they plan to ditch their dead-end jobs in rural Perfection, Nevada (population: 14). However, just as the pair embarks on their journey, unusual events begin taking place in their forlorn community. When half-deteriorated corpses are found on the road of town, phone lines fail and an enthusiastic scientist reports an increase in seismic activity in the area, the duo stays to help figure out the source of these abnormalities. 

Tremors is a fervent love-letter to 1950s creature feature genre pieces with the amusingly cynical overtones of a 90s horror-comedy. The bonafide cult classic has grabbed audiences’ affections ever since its release and spawned a successful franchise with sequels such as Tremors 2: Aftershocks and Tremors 3: Back to Perfection.
