Harrods opens its doors to evening dining service across its restaurants
It’s a historic moment for Harrods: for the first time, the iconic department store is opening its doors for evening dining service across its restaurants and bars. From this week, the Dining Hall, as well as the Tiffany Blue Box Café, Harrods Social by Jason Atherton and the Baccarat Bar, will stay open past 7pm.
A look at Harrods’ Dining Hall
The Sushi Bar
With head chef Eran Low – a sushi master with more than 20 years’ experience – at the helm, the restaurant promises a fantastically wide range of fish and seafood served with a few signature twists. As well as specialty nigiri and sashimi, menu highlights include kabayaki of eel with foie gras, tiger-prawn tempura with caviar and tataki of Wagyu beef.
Caviar House & Prunier
The central hub of the Dining Hall, Caviar House & Prunier is the place to see and be seen in this truly atmospheric room. Take a seat beneath our Grade II*-listed tiles and indulge in the world’s finest seafood, from Norwegian Balik smoked salmon and beluga caviar to English rock oysters.
Pasta Evangelists
Created by Pasta Evangelists’ Michele Rodelli, the menu is just as tempting as you would expect: think lobster tortelloni served with a lobster and vine tomato butter; lasagne cupcakes with British asparagus and Parmesan cream; and Rigatoni with black truffle.
Kerridge’s Fish & Chips
Discover a menu created by Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge whereby diners can tuck into Britain’s finest, freshest seafood, all ethically caught and hand-selected by local fishmongers. From the succulent daily catch to hand-dived scallops and native lobster, there’s a variety of grilled and deep-fried options that will have you salivating – not to mention Kerridge’s famous crisp and light gluten-free batter.
The Grill
Experience the thrill of the grill at this must-try destination for meat-lovers. Every cut on the menu – all straight from our butcher – is hand-picked from the very finest producers and cooked to order on a charcoal grill.
Kama by Vineet
Vineet Bhatia, the first Indian chef to helm a Michelin-starred restaurant, offers a journey though the flavours of his home country, with dishes inspired by the nation’s myriad culinary traditions. Indulge in a selection of sharing plates and bowls, including samosa chickpea chaat, banana-leaf and coconut-chilli sea bass, pistachio lamb chops and butter chicken, best enjoyed with freshly baked naan and perfect biryani. Alternatively, try the signature thali, with meat or as a vegetarian option.
