See How They Run: On the red carpet with the cast and creatives
Bringing a combination of murder, mystery and comedy to the big screen, writer Mark Chappell has collaborated with producer Damian Jones and director Tom George to deliver a perfectly formulated classic whodunnit.
The feature is brimming with clever one-liners and packed out with an all-star ensemble in a 1950s tale of twists and turns that begins with a murder. The premise surrounds a sold-out play being turned into a film. This is then turned on its head when a central member of the crew is murdered and an incoming inspector and his rookie sidekick investigate the homicide among the theatre cast.
Close references to Agatha Christie plays are deliberate and offer an essence of nostalgia, but the comic timing brings the film forward to more modern times. The Upcoming had the pleasure of attending the gala screening at Picturehouse Central and speaking to the cast and creatives.
