Last night Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo brought a colourfully crackling performance to London’s Roundhouse, in keeping with the Bonfire Night festivities happening outside. The stop in London as part of the tour for her latest album, Dirt Femme, brought undeniable joy to the buzzing crowd.

The singer’s grunge-influenced pop music was on full show here, with the extensive setlist spanning work from the new record, as well as her earlier, darker oeuvre. Opener Pineapple Slice took some time to get going, but it was followed by a series of upbeat bangers that got the crowd on their feet, behind Lo all the way through the varied setlist that culminated in a dazzling closer in No One Dies from Love

The Upcoming’s photographer was there to shoot the experience.
