This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Into Film Awards, which have seen an unprecedented number of film submissions from children and young people across the UK. Into Film, supported by the BFI with National Lottery Good Cause funding, emphasises the importance of providing children with the opportunity to learn filmmaking skills and to express themselves through film. This initiative is part of the charity’s broader mission to embed the power of film into education and the community, offering free resources to state schools, colleges, and youth settings in the UK.
The event not only highlights the burgeoning talent within the country but also receives backing from the UK film industry, including support from celebrities like Daniel Craig, Eddie Redmayne and Naomie Harris in previous years.
Into Film continues to lead as a charity dedicated to film in education and the community, striving to inspire the next generation of filmmakers and storytellers. The 2024 Into Film Awards promises to be a significant event, celebrating the achievements of young filmmakers and furthering the charity’s mission to harness the educational power of film.
