Silverleaf teams up with The Lost Explorer Mezcal for mezcal-tasting experience

In May 2024, Silverleaf, a premier cocktail bar housed within the Pan Pacific London, is teaming up with The Lost Explorer Mezcal to offer an immersive experience in its hidden tasting room, Alba. This collaboration aims to transport guests to Mexico through an exclusive mezcal-tasting event designed to engage all senses. Led by The Lost Explorer’s Brand Ambassador, Alan Uresti, participants will have the opportunity to explore the diverse flavors of artisanal mezcals, including Espadín, Tobalá, and Salmiana, which are part of The Lost Explorer’s award-winning collection. Moreover, attendees can look forward to a special limited-edition cocktail crafted by Silverleaf’s renowned mixology team.

Located on the 3rd Floor of Devonshire House, at Bishopsgate Plaza, Alba will offer the experience from Wednesday to Friday at a cost of £30 per person.

The Lost Explorer Mezcal is celebrated for its handcrafted artisanal spirits made from 100% agave sourced from Valles Centrales, Oaxaca, Mexico. Launched in 2020, the brand is committed to supporting sustainable Mexican enterprises while preserving the ancient craft, heritage, and biodiversity of the region. The mezcal expressions are crafted under the expertise of Maestro Mescalero, Don Fortino Ramos, who brings over four decades of distilling experience to ensure the highest quality and character of each varietal.

Nestled in the historic 144-year-old Devonshire House adjacent to Pan Pacific London, Silverleaf stands out as one of the first independent cocktail bars within a luxury hotel setting. The bar, along with its semi-private area and the intimate Alba space accomodating up to 11 people, aims to provide guests with forward-thinking cocktails and private drink experiences.

This partnership between Silverleaf and The Lost Explorer Mezcal not only promises an exceptional tasting experience but also a deep dive into the rich culture of Mexico, highlighting the art of mezcal-making and the biodiversity it supports.
